I will remember that I had one migraine , it started 5-6 years ago. It was a hay-sided headache and always pounded and pulsed . I ate paracemol , ibuprofen , acetylsalicylic acid and caffeine, sumatriptan . After a while so I discovered that metoprolol as a seizure control . I had seizures about 3-4 times in month and it lasted maybe 4-6 hours . But I checked Never something blood pressure . I dared never . Misery .

Spring 2020 so I was training and running . exercise track in the forest . I was in wretched fitness and it was felt with pain in chest but I ran on on the tracks .

I worked on Öregrunds Health center where we lived in a small one next to Systembolaget. The wife had moved to Jämtland and I would coming after . For a some time ago we had bought a cottage in Skinnarvik and we were completely happy with it. Life is playing and I continued to work as district doctor a time , but there I had my stroke.

I would now like to tell my story .

After stroke

My coworkers and I had been to physiotherapy some hours after We ate snacks and oral drink and then I went to my little one , only 75 m to the house . I think that I was home at 7 p.m. Tried to reach a colleague as works in Jämtland , but nothing answer . Then I think I had talked to the wife around 8-9 p.m. and then I went to bed early .

I woke up at eight o’clock. and pinged on the door but from what I understand I had a right-sided hemiparesis and I was stunned and brain damaged , but I understood none of this . I heard the voice perform the door but I could not go and got crawl on the floor . Both right arm and leg working not without me continuing crawl on the floor and finally so I coaxed my way to the door. and got up left arm and hand to Open the door and locked up .

It was Maria and the daughter Sanna from the health center . I was only half awake. and coming not just remember that Maria and Sanna put cannula in the arm or hands and then came ambulance personnel and put me on a stretcher . I think . It was a mixture of unconsciousness and half awake . I think that I became cage on the stretcher for it went Don’t take the elevator , it was too crowded. in the elevator .

The ambulance was on the street by the stairwell. and it was crowded as I come remember that. I was probably mostly unconscious but I think that one gave a syringe and then I slept .

It was 8 miles from Öregrund to Academic hospital in Uppsala but I was unconscious during the transport . The emergency room I will not come . remember and not that either DT brain but I have read my journal on 1177.se and see the statement of my brain .

• Decision on thrombectomy . Contrast medium injection shows occlusion in the M1 segment on left page . The intermediate catheter placed against the tornado in left M1 segment. Aspiration with pump is performed in the intermediate catheter in about 5 minutes , then drawn intermediate catheter with ongoing aspiration, inflated balloon on the guide catheter and aspiration in the guide catheter . It will out a dark red tornado . The vessels is then open at 09:49. There is occlusion left to be seen distally in one of the M3 branches .

Recreates life after neurological damage . It takes time , long , long time .After thrombectomy was traumatic brain-damaged and partially unconscious .

I woke up in a bed on neuro- iva . I had a back buttoned patient shirt , low on back and had KAD. I would not move me too had had a arterial bleeding after catheter tube. I pooped now and then.

When I was awake and when I had one brain damage , so I realized that my right arm and leg were working . As soon as I could so I moved my arm and my legs. I raised my arm and I moved the hand , the legs and the foot and so kicked in the headboard . They want that I should have myself left on back in the bed on another 12 hours on neuro- iva .

Stroke ward 85

Man drove me in the bed to the neurology department , but will not remember that. They put me in a Other bed with gates . I will remember to the bed rail was half the missions and I feel to became so strong questions .

I had a t-shirt and a pair of black pants in the bag , but I didn’t have any of my own underwear . They were wearing on me a patient shirt and patient’s underwear . They left me in the bed and closed the door .

The first as I could should I take from the bed and dressed on my own clothes . I was slipping and climb over the bed rail which was half I took off my clothes . patient clothing and got on my dirty t-shirt and my pants but no underwear .

I will remember that , I would probably have been infected on a staff member with covid19, but I will not remember that. In any case, you don’t want expose infection on department . I was isolated and very alone . I was traumatic brain-damaged and understood nothing . Nothing .

After some days so served the staff meal in my isolation room . In began so Did I get to eat? pureed food, ground meat or fish and potato or rice . It was terrible . After a time so got eat in the dining room , I got it nothing .Why that. I could say nothing , just point . Staff posted it as point on the tray and I ate it like Then it was the isolation room .

The doctors come and they went , it was just words and sentences but understood enough nothing . The nurses and the nurses gave me medicine and food and then I slept long and deep .

After five days Do I want to go? in town and get me some clothes , I had a t-shirt and a black pants . I slapped out from Academic to the city and the clock been about 10 and I’m walking By the park . No one saw me dodge but I was one free man.

I had had a stroke, but physically way so I could n’t bear it , but I ignored it . Five days ago and showed that DT skull that I had a infraction in brain and killing four cm of the neuron . I understand nothing without want go to town and shop Luckily it was a summer day. and it was enough with a t-shirt and black pants but no underwear .

It was a Sunday and understood to the deal is closed and opened the clock eleven . So I had coffee , a cup coffee and any to eat . I will not remember how would I pay , maybe with the Visa cards , but I have forgotten the code . I think that I bought strawberries but I don’t know where or how I paid . Anyway , so carry home to the department , my two liters of strawberries , and stored in my closet .

Finally, so opened Ahléns store and I took up to others floor . But I was tired. and confused about it anyway I was inside . Finally I found a black polo shirt and Levi’s jeans but no underwear . Then I was going to pay but I didn’t have any the code . The clerk was from Middle East and I was very confused in the end so I paid with my visa card and driver’s license , ph.

Then I left By the park to academic the hospital and stroke ward 85. When I arrive up to building so I knew which one floor it was, I opened the elevator door and stepped and the pressure on floor 7th with I knew not how to do . Crazy , but that’s how it was. So I went up to 7th floor but I was very tired .

When I was going go in each department locked . Finally I found the button and called on . Staff and my wife had been looking after me . Stupid .

Covid19 and rehabilitation medicine the reception on Genetics path 4 in Gottsunda .

After I was going moved to on rehabilitation department on Genetics path 4 in Gottsunda after leave. After leave and put me in a taxi and drove me to the rehab ward . I got own room but you think to wear patient clothes but I said no .

I now want to tell my story . I lived in Jamtland and I got a referral to Östersund rehab center .

It was maybe a six months after sick in a stroke. I was sick , very sick. sick , I could Don’t talk so I cry. very , in anyway and long time . I used to wake on after the night , I lay on a mattress and grabbed the wife ankle and I was very terrified . And I was alone , very alone and scared .

Wife began work , first half-time and then full-time . What I would find on ? Then came late autumn and winter . Mrs. owns a cottage in Hede and it would build and renovation . We worked very in the cottage . In connection with this get got evil in the arm and the armpit then got fever . High fever during PC treatment . I applied medical center . Doctor looked at my arm, armpit and tests. I had sky-high CRP, 300 mg/L and it was very high . I was sick , very sick. Wife drove me by car to the emergency room on Ostersund hospital . I was added .

It was the covid epidemic . Mrs. and the others would not to be with them were sick on the emergency room . She went home. I was alone , sick , high fever and confused . I have that I had sepsis. The staff were nice but I could don’t talk or communicate . One thinks that I would have one ultrasound in the armpit but became not of.. I’m thinking also on francisella tularensis..

Then went for a while and then I would be admitted to the blood and medicine department hormonal disorders . I was a satellite patient but I belonged the surgeon ,

I had confusion . and fever but they stopped in me on the 2nd floor together with a woman with dementia who was 100 years old. In addition, I had terrible evil in arm and axilla and I got syringes with Ketogan . Next day I was going for an ultrasound of my armpit . I was in pain but they tried to punctured a boil in armpit . They got out 30 ml from the abscess but I was in pain they stopped . So I became operated in left armpit . It was done in the middle of the night after and I was evacuated from the boil . Then I was sober on awakening before I am transported in the bed to the medical department .

I became better and better and it became less hurt but I got injection with opiate . I had difficulty to move My arm was stiff. and difficult to move the hand and arm. Then I had anemia due to sepsis and together with uremia . I would printed now and the wife retrieved me . Then I got go to the pharmacy and fetch new antibacterial medicine .
